How much does email marketing cost for 10,000 subscribers?

Of the 14 tools here, 13 charge by the number of subscribers you store. The table shows the cheapest paid plan of each at two list sizes. Brevo charges by emails sent and has its own table under it.

Cheapest paid plan of each tool, regular price per month with monthly billing. Sorted by price at 10,000 subscribers, the largest size shown; the lowest price in each column is marked. Checked on official pricing pages, September 29–30, 2026.

Brevo is priced by emails sent, so it has no single price at a list size and is not ranked above. We compare its Standard plan. Starter costs less at the same volume but stops at 100,000 emails a month, limits automation to 2,000 contacts and keeps the Brevo logo unless you pay to remove it. The tier is set by emails sent and by stored contacts: the three smallest tiers hold 500, 1,500 and 2,500 contacts, and every tier from 20,000 emails up holds 500,000. Standard stops at 500,000 emails a month. Your tier is the first one that covers both the emails you send in a month and the size of your list.

Read the “Emails included” column next to each price: a capped plan and an unlimited one are not the same offer. Every price is the regular month-to-month one. Several pricing pages, ActiveCampaign, Constant Contact and Kit among them, open on annual prices, and Mailchimp leads with a first-year discount, so the first figure you see there is lower than the one here.

For three tools the prices need a note:

  • ActiveCampaign. Month-to-month prices from the pricing data the official page loads (its one-month billing interval); the page itself displays only the lower annual-billing prices. Starter stops at 25,000 contacts; the smallest tier is 1,000.
  • GetResponse. USD prices as published in the data of getresponse.com/pricing/trial; the pricing page shows local currency to visitors outside the US. The smallest tier is 1,000 contacts.
  • RD Station. RD Station states its USD prices are valid for Argentina, Chile, Ecuador and Peru; customers elsewhere, the United States included, are quoted in Brazilian reais. These are the regular prices; the page leads with a lower price for the first three months. The smallest tier is 1,000 contacts and 2,500 uses the 3,000 tier. The send limit is from its Brazilian plan table and help center.

Average cost per month at 10,000 subscribers

Across the 13 tools priced by list size the median is $110 a month, and the range runs from $78 to $189. The low end is three plans with unlimited emails: SendPulse, GetResponse and Moosend.

A budget up to the median covers the cheaper half of the group. SMS, extra users and similar add-ons are billed on top.

Cheapest email marketing services for 10,000 subscribers

Among the 13 tools compared here, ranked by monthly price at 10,000 subscribers, the order is SendPulse, GetResponse, Moosend, MailerLite, AWeber.

Monthly price at 10,000 subscribers
  1. SendPulse$78
  2. GetResponse$79
  3. Moosend$88
  4. MailerLite$8910× contacts per month
  5. AWeber$10010× subscribers per month
  6. RD Station Marketing$1005× contacts per month
  7. Mailchimp$11010× contacts per month
  8. Campaign Monitor$1175× contacts per month
  9. Constant Contact$12010× contacts per month
  10. Omnisend$13212× contacts per month
  11. Kit$139
  12. Klaviyo$15010× profiles per month
  13. ActiveCampaign$18910× contacts per month

Cheapest paid plan, monthly billing, US dollars. Highlighted: the lowest price with unlimited emails. Brevo is priced by emails sent, not by list size, and is not ranked here. Checked on official pricing pages, September 29–30, 2026.

  • SendPulse: $78. Unlimited emails on the Standard plan. At this size it is practically level with GetResponse, and at smaller sizes other tools are lower; the calculator shows each size. SMS is billed per message on top of the plan, and chatbots beyond the free allowance are a separate plan.
  • GetResponse: $79. Unlimited emails on Starter. The Starter plan includes one custom automation workflow. SMS and transactional email need the Enterprise plan.
  • Moosend: $88. Unlimited emails, no free plan. Its pricing page lists no SMS or messenger channel.
  • MailerLite: $89. The send allowance on this plan is 10× contacts per month.
  • AWeber: $100. The same kind of send cap, and a free plan of 500 contacts and 3,000 emails a month.

The rest cost more. RD Station matches AWeber at this size, with a lower send allowance and the regional pricing noted above. Mailchimp, at $110, is the median of the group; the Mailchimp pricing page has every tier. Kit’s free plan already covers 10,000 contacts and unlimited emails, so its paid price applies only if you need the paid features.

This comparison covers 14 tools. Others, such as beehiiv, HubSpot, Sender and EmailOctopus, are not in our price data yet, so “lowest” on this page always means lowest among the tools compared here.

Priced by list size or by emails sent: not the same bill

Brevo charges for the emails you send, so the same list costs a different amount at each sending level. Newsletters are only part of the volume: welcome and onboarding sequences, reminders and receipts are emails too, and a list that gets them can reach several emails a week per subscriber.

A list of 10,000 subscribers at four sending levels; automated emails count toward the total. Brevo Standard tiers stop at 500,000 emails a month. Its cheaper Starter plan is not used here because it stops at 100,000 emails a month; both plans are in the Brevo table above. Regular monthly prices. Checked September 29–30, 2026.
Emails per subscriberEmails a monthBrevo Standardby emails sentMailerLite ComfortcappedSendPulse Standardunlimited
Two emails a month20,000$69$89$78
One email a week43,000$97$89$78
Two emails a week87,000$139$89$78
Five emails a week217,000$249Over its allowance$78

At two emails a month, paying by emails sent is the lowest bill for a list of this size. From one email a week up, the unlimited plan costs less, and at five a week the allowance of the capped plan has run out while the unlimited plan still costs what it cost at two emails a month.

The Brevo column uses its Standard plan. Brevo’s Starter plan stops at 100,000 emails a month and its Standard plan at 500,000. Starter is cheaper at low volume, so a list that stays small and quiet pays less on it; one that grows or gains an onboarding sequence outruns it. Both plans are in the Brevo table above.

To place your own list, count subscribers times campaigns, add the automated emails, and take the first Brevo tier that covers both that volume and your list size. At small list sizes the contact allowance, not the email volume, is what sets the tier. The cost calculator does this sum for any list size.

Which one to choose

  • SendPulseYou send often, want one price whatever the volume, and may add SMS or messenger chatbots later.
  • GetResponseYou want unlimited emails at practically the same price and may move to its course and webinar plan later.
  • BrevoYour list is large but you email it once or twice a month, so paying per email sent costs less than paying per subscriber.
  • MoosendYou need email only, unlimited sends, and no free plan is fine.
  • MailerLiteYou want the lowest-priced capped plan here and stay under its monthly allowance.
  • KlaviyoYou run an online store and need deep e-commerce data, at a higher price than most tools here.

$78 to $89 a month covers the four lowest-priced tools compared here; the median of all 13 is $110. SMS, extra users and other add-ons are billed on top of the plan.

Why is Brevo not in the price table?

Is there a free email marketing plan that covers 10,000 subscribers?

Kit's free plan: 10,000 contacts and unlimited emails. Brevo's free plan: 100,000 contacts and 300 emails a day; it can hold a list of this size, but at that daily limit one campaign to the whole list takes more than a month. No other free plan in this comparison reaches 10,000 subscribers.
