Brevo is priced by emails sent, so it has no single price at a list size and is not ranked above. We compare its Standard plan. Starter costs less at the same volume but stops at 100,000 emails a month, limits automation to 2,000 contacts and keeps the Brevo logo unless you pay to remove it. The tier is set by emails sent and by stored contacts: the three smallest tiers hold 500, 1,500 and 2,500 contacts, and every tier from 20,000 emails up holds 500,000. Standard stops at 500,000 emails a month. Your tier is the first one that covers both the emails you send in a month and the size of your list.

How to read the result

The ranking uses regular month-to-month prices in US dollars. Several pricing pages, ActiveCampaign, Constant Contact and Kit among them, open on annual prices, and Mailchimp leads with a first-year discount. Those are left out, so the number here is the plan price for one month, before tax and add-ons.

The table holds prices at seven list sizes. A list in between is shown at the next size up, which is the most it can cost; vendors with finer tiers may charge less for it. When the cheapest plan stops before a list size, the cell names the plan that takes over, and a small note marks a price that belongs to a larger minimum tier. If a free plan covers your list and volume, the result says so.

Count every email, not only newsletters: welcome and onboarding sequences, reminders and receipts go into “emails to each subscriber per month” too. A list on an active onboarding flow can reach twenty or more.

A low price can come with a send cap. The “Emails included” column shows which plans cap sends; SendPulse, GetResponse, Moosend and Kit do not. If you mail the whole list more than about twice a week, compare only those four.

Brevo charges by emails sent, so it has its own table under the main one, and the calculator picks its tier from your numbers.

Which one to choose

The lowest price changes with the size of the list, so start from the row for your size in the table above.

  • MoosendYour list is 5,000 or smaller and you need email only with no send cap; it is the lowest price here at 500, 1,000 and 5,000.
  • SendPulseYour list is 10,000 or more, where it is the lowest price here, or you want SMS and chatbots in the same account. SMS is billed per message and chatbots are a separate plan.
  • GetResponseYour list is around 2,500, or you want unlimited emails and may use its course and webinar plan later.
  • BrevoYou mail a large list once or twice a month, so a price per email sent works out lower.

Frequently asked questions

How is a list size that is not in the table priced?

The calculator shows the next list size it has prices for: a list of 7,000 is shown at the 10,000 row. That is an upper bound. A vendor with a tier in between may charge less, so check its pricing page for the exact tier. ActiveCampaign, GetResponse, Kit and RD Station start at 1,000 subscribers, so a list of 500 pays their 1,000 price.

Which tool is cheapest at each list size?

Among the 13 tools in the table: Moosend at 500, 1,000 and 5,000 subscribers, GetResponse at 2,500, and SendPulse at 10,000, 25,000 and 50,000. The gaps are small in places: at 10,000 the two lowest prices are $78 and $79. The table under the calculator shows the three lowest at every size, ties included.

Why does Brevo have no row in the table?

Brevo charges by emails sent in a month, not by list size, so it has no single price at a list size. The calculator works out its tier from your list size and sending frequency and shows it next to the ranked result.

What does the price leave out?

Sales tax, SMS, extra users and other add-ons. The figure is the regular plan price for one month on monthly billing; annual billing and first-year offers are lower.
